Wesleyan's Mathematics program is designed to prepare students for employment as applied mathematicians in industry, business, management, and actuarial sciences, as well as entrance into graduate school; certification as secondary or elementary teachers of mathematics; or a variety of careers in other fields that depend on quantitative problem solving. In addition to gaining a solid basis in theoretical and applied mathematics, students learn to use modern technology, solve problems creatively, and communicate effectively. |

Wesleyan's Computer Science program is designed to provide the student with a broad background suitable as a basis for continued studies in graduate school or employment in the computer industry or in business. Students may specialize in hardware, software, or application areas and complete their senior project in their area of interest.
