Requirements for Major in Psychology
37 semester hours, including PSYC 101, 209, 215, 230, 245, 301, 304, 320, 330, 340, 397, 497. Students may earn up to six credits in readings in psychology, which are done through independent study. Students must earn a 3.0 cumulative grade point average in PSYC 101, 215, and 230 to continue in the Psychology major.
Requirements for Minor in Psychology
15 semester hours, including PSYC 101.
Requirements for Major in Human Services
31 semester hours, including PSYC 101, 209, 211, 220, 225, 245, 330, 451, 452; six hours of electives. Students may earn three credits in readings in human services, which are done through independent study. Students may wish to consider a minor or second major in Sociology or Criminal Justice. |
