Department of Business & Economics

StudentsWesleyan’s Business and Economics Department prepares students for careers in business that require decision making in a complex setting. The programs’ two overriding goals are to provide: a firm base of liberal education that will develop a global view of human understanding and to present business instruction so that students may understand the functions of the business firm as a whole and the purposes of functional areas of business in particular.
