Wesleyan hosted the annual meeting of the Appalachian Section
of the American Association of Physics Teachers on October 26, 2007.
Wesleyan's Dr. Joseph Wiest serves as president.
He also chaired this year's meeting.
Wesleyan President Pamela Balch gave the attendees a warm welcome.
Joe Zambelli (1991) demonstrated a diffusion cloud chamber that he developed.
Wesleyan students Josh Mullenax, Phil McElfresh, Scott Roberts, and Jacqueline Queen
presented results of their NASA summer research internships.
Our guests were also given a tour of Wesleyan's physics labs.
