Our graduates sometimes write to let us know how they are doing. We appreciate their insights.

Bryan Corder completed his 3/2-Engineering studies at West Virginia Wesleyan in 2007. He was a member of our tennis team. Bryan has transferred to West Virginia University. Click on Bryan's name to read his letter.

Amy Powelson graduated from our department in 2006. She is working toward an M.S. in Medical Physics at Vanderbilt University.

Brenton Stone graduated in 2006. He is studying toward an M.S. in Civil Engineering at the University of Virginia.

Dustin Schilpp graduated in 2005. Dustin was a member of our baseball team. He is working as a civil engineer in Baltimore.

Chad Smith graduated in 2003. Chad was a member of Wesleyan's Concert Chorale. After he graduated, he obtained an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia.

Josh Keane graduated in 2002. Josh obtained an M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from George Washington University and presently works for Bell Helicopters in Ft. Worth, Texas.

Morgan Meadows graduated 2002 and is employed as a geophysicist with Schlumberger.

Jane Schelbe graduated from our department in 2001. Jane now teaches high school physics in Cary, N.C.

Robert Hardin graduated from our department in 2001. He was a member of our track and field team. He is finishing his Ph.D. in plasma physics at West Virginia University. Robert returned to Wesleyan to make a presentation on his research.

Phil Lemire graduated in 2000. Phil went on to obtain an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia. He is now employed as a mechanical engineer at the National Ground Intelligence Center in Charlottesville, Va.

Wes Steele graduated in 1999. Wes obtained an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University and is presently an engineer for the Modjeski and Masters engineering firm in Harrisburg, Pa.

Chad Moore graduated in 1998. Chad was a member of our baseball team. He obtained an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 2000 from Georgia Tech. Chad is presently an engineer for General Motors.

Vaki Ross graduated in 1999. He works in Atlanta at a company called Terracon Inc., which does environmental, geotechnical, and materials engineering.

Jason Martin graduated in 1999. He obtained an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Virginia. Jason now works for Bechtel-Bettis.

Jay Bazzano graduated in 1996. He was a member of our baseball team. Jay works on software projects at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren, Va.

Adam Kuhl graduated in 1996. He went on to obtain an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech. Adam is working for Raytheon in Tucson, Ariz.

Valerie Keefer Oldaker graduated in 1996. She obtained an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 1998 from West Virginia University and is presently an engineer at the Toyota plant in Buffalo, W.Va.

Kim Richards Farnsworth graduated in 1995. She obtained a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering in 2000 from Georgia Tech and is presently an engineer at the Dupont plant in Parkersburg, W.Va.

Marie Woolwine Rasmussen graduated in 1995. She obtained an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering at West Virginia University and now helps design bulldozers at Caterpillar in Peoria, Ill.

Dave Klebe graduated in 1994. He obtained an M.S. in Electrical Engineering in 1996 from Penn State and became a field engineer at Rockwell International.

Chris Kuhl graduated in 1993. He went on to obtain an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue. Chris works as a mechanical engineer at NASA Langley.

Tom Schiefer graduated from our department in 1991. He went on to earn an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Carolina and is now employed at Koyo Bearing Corporation in South Carolina.

Tyler Gruber graduated in 1990. He played trombone in Wesleyan's concert band. Tyler obtained a Ph.D. in Physics in 1994 from Texas Christian University and then started working in the Technical Service and Research Department at Columbian Chemicals in Louisiana. Tyler is presently a professor of physics at Creighton University in Georgia.
