The National Radio Astronomy Observatory is located two hours from our college. The facility operates the world premiere astronomical telescope operating from centimeter to millimeter wavelengths. The facility supports active research by teams from several universities. And Jackie Queen and Mike Murphy are two physics students who have used NRAO facilities for research projects. And the Engineering Physics Society visited NRAO in October.
