Driving Directions to West Virginia Wesleyan College

1.  From Morgantown

Drive south on I-79 to Route 33 East (Exit 99).  Take 33East approximately 12 miles to Buckhannon.  Take the Buckhannon/Rte. 20 South exit.  Continue south on 20 past the courthouse and a Wendy’s (both on the left) and up a slight hill.  Turn left on College Avenue. (There is a McDonald’s on the your right at this intersection.)  Follow College Avenue until just before it ends.  Turn right into a long parking lot.  Follow the parking lot to its end.  The building at the end of the parking lot is Christopher Hall of Science.

2.  From Charleston

Drive north on I-79 to Route 33 East (Exit 99).  Take 33East approximately 12 miles to Buckhannon.  Take the Buckhannon/Rte. 20 South exit.  Continue south on 20 past the courthouse and a Wendy’s (both on the left) and up a slight hill.  Turn left on College Avenue. 3.  From Elkins

Drive west on Rte. 33.  Take the Buckhannon/Rte. 20 South exit.  Continue south on 20 past the courthouse and a Wendy’s (both on the left) and up a slight hill.  Turn left on College Avenue. (There is a McDonald’s on the your right at this intersection.)  Follow College Avenue until just before it ends.  Turn right into a long parking lot.  Follow the parking lot to its end.  The building at the end of the parking lot is Christopher Hall of Science.

Alternate parking areas

Parking areas (except Handicapped spots) are not restricted on weekends or after 5 pm on weekdays. 

1.  Parking on the oval in front of the Administration building.  This area is accessible from College Avenue.  You’ll pass it if you follow the directions, above.

2.  Parking on the oval in front of the Chapel.  From College Ave., turn south (right if you’re coming from Rte. 20; left if you’re driving towards Rte. 20) on Meade Street.  (Meade St. borders the west side of campus).  Turn left on Camden Ave.  The Chapel oval will be on your left. 

3.  Parking behind Camden Apartments.  From College Ave., turn south (right if you’re coming from Rte. 20; left if you’re driving towards Rte. 20) on Meade Street.  (Meade St. borders the west side of campus).  Turn left on Camden Ave.  These apartments face the Chapel oval on the right side of Camden Ave.  Turn on either of the streets that are immediately adjacent to the apartments.  The parking lot has several entrances behind the Camden Apartments.

4.  Parking lot adjacent to the Child Development Center.  From College Ave., turn south (right if you’re coming from Rte. 20; left if you’re driving towards Rte. 20) on Meade Street.  (Meade St. borders the west side of campus). Turn left on Camden Ave.  Continue on Camden Ave. past the Chapel Oval and Camden Apartments.  The parking lot is on the right side of Camden Avenue prior to the railroad crossing.
