Dr. Popson,
I just wanted to drop you a
line and give you an update on my career track since graduating Wesleyan in
'96. I've recently left Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren,
Va. I now work for a support contractor for the
Marines at Quantico, Va.
One of my current projects is the Advanced Eye Safe Laser
Rangefinder Observer, which is an expensive pair of binoculars
with an eye-safe laser. Another project is the Mortar Ballistic Computer, which
calculates mortar positions and target locations in a Palm-like
ruggedized handheld computer. This project is by far the most interesting that
I've worked on.
I've been
truly blessed with awesome family and friends. We have two boys, Joshua
4 and Jared 2.
I hope all is well at Wesleyan
Thanks to you and Dr. Wiest and for all of your help and encouragement. I look forward
to returning either during Spring Weekend or Homecoming this year. I will look
for you there.
Sincerely,
Jay Bazzano
