Dear Dr. Popson:

Let me update you on what I've been doing since Wesleyan. I completed my M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Virginia in 2000. My research project involved ultralight materials called aerogels. I work work in Charleston S.C. for Bechtel-Bettis at the Naval Nuclear Weapons School. I train Navy personnel on operating procedures for the nuclear reactors on submarines and aircraft carriers.
