The School of Health Sciences serves as a leader in the development and education of excellent, innovative and responsible healthcare professionals. The School works collaboratively with local and distant healthcare agencies to educate and promote excellence in the provision of services.
The School serves as an integral link to the West Virginia Wesleyan campus, accountable to students and their families, the Central West Virginia and surrounding areas, faculty, alumni and other benefactors, and maintains a strong link with clinical educators, preceptors and the community to assure continued success.
We promise an educational experience that will include classes taught by committed and dedicated faculty who bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the classroom. Further, many of our faculty are alumni of West Virginia Wesleyan, and are committed to maintaining the excellence and integrity in our programs. Your experience will also include the opportunity to learn from clinical internships that provide exposure to various aspects of the provision of healthcare.
