free of charge to you. If you would like to complete an application
for admission at this time, please click

Procedure for Application to WV Wesleyan College
A completed application includes:
- Completed
application for admission.
There
is no application fee for applying online. The paper application
is $35. This fee is waived if you apply before January 1.

- SAT
or ACT scores - arrange for SAT or ACT score reports to be sent
to West Virginia Wesleyan College. Wesleyan's SAT (CEEB) code
is 5905; the ACT code is 4544. Wesleyan combines the best math
and verbal scores. Be sure to send us scores from all tests
taken.

Preferential Deadline: December 1
Notification: Within two weeks of the date when a completed application is received beginning October 1
Important Facts about the December 1 Preferential Deadline include:
- The $35 application fee is waived
- An essay is not required to complete the application
- You can learn of your admission status when you visit the campus (must bring or submit the application along with transcript and ACT or SAT scores)
- You can learn of your admission status when a Wesleyan admission staff member visits your school (must bring your paper application along with your transcript and ACT or SAT scores).

Scholarship Consideration:
Priority Deadline: March 1
Applicants who are homeschooled, from non-accredited high schools, or completing General Education Development may be considered for admission if satisfactory ability and achievement are demonstrated.

Application Policy
Admission
to West Virginia Wesleyan College is moderately selective. Many
factors influence the admission decision.
The most important factor in the admission decision is your high
school record (course load and grades attained), followed by SAT
or ACT scores, your character and record of leadership, service
to the community, extracurricular activities, recommendations,
and class rank if available. Campus interviews are strongly encouraged
and may be required in some cases.

You are encouraged to pursue a challenging college preparatory
program throughout your four years of high school. We require
the following selection of courses:
- English - 4 units
- Math - 3 or more units (Algebra I, II and Geometry are required)
- Science - 3 or more units (including one lab science)
- Social Studies - 3 or more units
- Foreign Language - We strongly recommend 2 or more units
