Wesleyan Appoints Bill Lilly as Men’s Basketball Coach

West Virginia Wesleyan College has named Bill Lilly as its new head men’s basketball coach. For the past three years, Lilly has served as Director of Basketball Operations on John Beilein’s staff at West Virginia University.

“Bill Lilly brings excellent experience and leadership to our men’s basketball program,” stated athletic director Dr. George Klebez. “His knowledge of the game is exceptional. He knows West Virginia and the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, and he will build a successful program at Wesleyan.”

Lilly replaces Charles Miller who coached men’s basketball at Wesleyan for 12 years before retiring in May.

 Wesleyan Wins Commissioner’s Cup

West Virginia Wesleyan College received the 2004-05 West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Commissioner’s Cup. This marks an unparalleled 14th consecutive year the Bobcats have claimed the award. The Commissioner’s Cup recognizes all-around athletic achievement among WVIAC members.
