As students complete final exams, it reminds me that Christmas is just around the corner. It seems like yesterday that we were welcoming our new freshman class to our campus. Many of us remember December as finals and all the work to complete projects, but more importantly, it is the time to think of friends, community and how we play an important role in the life of those around us.

I am always encouraged by how our students have been active at this time of year. Students participated in the annual Christmas on Campus for the Buckhannon area community children, and were active in the traditional hanging of the greens in Wesley Chapel, as well as concerts and plays. The talent displayed by our students is phenomenal and I encourage you to think back to when the snow was flying and you were the busy ones rushing from event to event in the midst of studying for your finals or finishing that project.

In this season of giving, I encourage you to consider Wesleyan for an end of the year gift. In challenging times such as these, our College relies on you to provide the financial means necessary to keep Wesleyan strong for future generations.
