The Wesleyan Fund

...is an opportunity for alumni and friends to take a lead role in advancing the College. It is our highest fund-raising priority because it helps enhance the Wesleyan experience for each student. It provides unrestricted and direct support to our financial aid program, allowing Wesleyan to attract a diverse group of outstanding students. It is the key to allowing Wesleyan to reach its mission of preparing and graduating educated men and women who

  • Think critically and creatively,
  • Communicate effectively,
  • Act responsibly, and
  • Demonstrate their local and world citizenship through service.

"Not only did Wesleyan provide me with numerous internship opportunities and travel experiences abroad, it gave me a strong foundation for graduate school. The specialized programs of study allowed me to map out long-term goals. In addition, my faculty advisers proved essential to my success and were always available to assist me with all facets of my educational experience. This type of individualized instruction would not have been possible at any other college or university. I was privileged to have spent time here and became a more refined and focused person--learning how to manage my time more efficiently, adjust to culturally diverse societies, and establish deeper relationships with my fellow peers."

"From the moment I began my first classes at Wesleyan, I knew I was in a place where there was no limit to the success of the students. I was not only allowed, but encouraged to pursue any interests I had, both on the athletic field and in the classroom. The faculty, staff, and coaches I met along the way all had a critical role in the development of the person I am today. They made Wesleyan a second home that I will always remember."
