Steel Magnolias by Robert Harling is a comedy-drama featuring a local group of women who congregate at Truvy’s Beauty Parlor in northwest Louisiana to gossip and giggle while preparing one another for life's tragedies and triumphs.
Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for students and senior citizens, and $2 with Wesleyan ID.

The Nego Gato’s performances bring the colorful beauty, rich historical legacy and explosive power of Afro-Brazilian drum and dance to audiences throughout the United States. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for students and senior citizens, and free with Wesleyan ID.

Simple Gifts displays an impressive variety of ethnic folk styles. This award-winning duo plays everything from lively Irish jigs
and down-home American reels to hard-driving Klezmer frailachs and haunting Gypsy melodies.
Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for students and senior citizens, and free with Wesleyan ID.

Emerging Artists Festival

The festival will include student choreography, musical theatre performances, acting and directing class scenes,
and student-directed one-acts. Admission is free.

The exhibition opens with a reception and gallery talk on March 20 at 4:30 p.m.-6 p.m. Awards will be announced at 5:30 p.m.

Naturally 7
March 24 @ 8 p.m. in Wesley Chapel

Naturally 7 performs songs that artfully blend gospel, jazz, rhythm and blues, hip hop and classical vocal genres through harmonious balance of their voices. Friends and musical partners, the seven members of the a cappella group hail from the New York Metropolitan area. Admission is free.

Jazz Ensemble

Wesleyan’s regionally renowned jazz ensemble presents its annual spring concert. Admission is free.

Concentus Vocum & Wesleyan Singers

Two Wesleyan vocal musical groups present their annual spring concert under the direction of long-time music professor Dr. Larry Parsons and musical director Sarah Carr. Admission is free.

Chicago
April 11-13 @ 8 p.m., April 15 @ 2 p.m. in Atkinson Auditorium

Set in the Windy City in 1927, Chicago by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse chronicles the exploits of a down-on-her-luck chorus girl who is on trial for murder. The trial attracts a media circus and parlays her dubious notoriety into fame and fortune. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for students and senior citizens, and $2 with Wesleyan ID.

Concert Band/Wind Ensemble/Percussion Ensemble
April 17 @ 7:30 p.m. in Wesley Chapel

Three Wesleyan instrumental groups present their annual spring concert under the direction of first-year conductor James Moore and percussion ensemble director Robert Baden. Admission is free.


Senior Art Exhibition by Lynn Zeigenfuse, Barry Miller and Brendan Sheridan
April 17-May 5 in Sleeth Gallery

Senior students display their art with a reception on April 17 at 4:30-6 p.m., and closing reception on May 5 at 1-2:30 p.m.
