Jesse Skiles
HEAD COACH
JESSE SKILES

Hometown:
Charleston, W.Va.
Alma Mater/Yr.:
B.S., Glenville State College (W.Va.)/1987; Master of Higher Education Administration, Marshall University/1991
Honors:
Coach Skiles has led his cross country and track teams to a prestigious 36 conference titles, a WVIAC record for all sports...Five titles were won during his tenure at Glenville State College, the other 31 since his arrival at Wesleyan in 1992...He is the only coach to earn four WVIAC titles in a single athletic season (1995-1996)...Along with the championships, Skiles has collected 33 Coach of the Year awards, the most recent being for the 2006 men's and women's track teams.
Notes:
Women's team has won four straight conference championships (2002-05) and 10 of the last 11.
Personal:
Coach Skiles is also employed by the Clarksburg Exponent-Telegram as a contributing sports writer...Skiles is renowned as a local author and historian and has now published eight statistical histories on West Virginia sports.

Mike Guinn

Currently pursuing nursing degree.
Notes:
Coach Guinn enters his second season as assistant coach for the Bobcats.
Running Career:
Ran three years at Alderson Broaddus College (W.Va.) and one year at the University of Charleston (W.Va.)...Four-time All-WVIAC runner...Conference MVP and national qualifier while leading A-B to their first WVIAC title in 2001...Still competes in local road races and is regarded as one of West Virginia's top runners.

Geri Woessner

Notes:
Coach Woesnner enters her second season as assistant coach of the Bobcats.

Track Career:

Holds the heptathlon and javelin records at Wittenberg. Overtook the NCAC heptathlon record her senior season, and was named to the NCAC All-Decade Team as a heptathlete.
