Honors: Coach Skiles has lead teams to a prestigious 28
conference titles, a WVIAC record for all sports. Five titles
were won during his tenure at Glenville State College, the other
23 since his arrival at Wesleyan in 1992. Along with the Championships,
Skiles has collected 24 “Coach of the Year” awards, the most recent
being for the 2003 women’s track and field team and 2003 women’s
cross country team.
The Teams: The Lady Bobcats Track team have won eleven
of the last thirteen Conference titles. The Lady Cats Cross Country
team has also successfully captured eight of the last nine WVIAC
titles.
Notes: Coach Skiles is also employed by the Clarksburg
Exponent as a contributing sports writer. Skiles is renowned as
a local author and historian as he has now published eight statistical
histories on West Virginia sports.

Notes: Johnshon played football and ran track
while at Concord. He was an All-State thrower at Buckhannon-Upshur.
Johnson was previously the offensive line and strength coach for
5 years at Buckhannon-Upshur before joining the Wesleyan staff
in the spring of '03. |
