The West Virginia Wesleyan football office announced plans for the second annual Women's Only Football Clinic. Women are invited to attend the event, which will be held on Thursday, August 5 from 6:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. at the French A. See Dining Center.

The night will consist of a silent auction beginning at 6:30 p.m. followed by the football clinic at 7 p.m. There will also be door prizes during the intermission period of the clinic.

Registration is $10 per person which includes a 2010 season ticket to all West Virginia Wesleyan home football games (Valued at $30). All proceeds from this event will benefit the Bobcat Football program.

Participants in the West Virginia Wesleyan Women's Only Football Clinic will receive education of the basic rules, skills and techniques required to play the game.

Last summer's clinic was a hit, attracting more than 125 women.

“Please join us as we attempt to bring the community together for an evening of fun and football education,” remarked Wesleyan head football coach Denny Creehan.
