The Wesleyan women's soccer team was well represented on the Daktronics Atlantic All-Region team, which was released on Tuesday afternoon.

In voting powered by ATHLETICSITE.COM and conducted among sports information directors at NCAA Division II institutions located in Pennsylvania and West Virginia, the Lady Bobcats placed six players on the All-Region squad.

Among the Wesleyan players recognized were Meghan Zayas, Jill Morrison, Katie Roberts, Hannah Macormic, Alana Torrey (pictured) and Caroline Lalley.

All six players from the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WVIAC) champion and NCAA tournament appearing Lady Bobcats earned second team recognition.

Other WVIAC players included on the All-Region team were Kara Houston of Wheeling Jesuit, Gemma Nortcliffe of Concord, Megan Beal, Allison Dant and sister Cole Dant of Davis & Elkins, Megan Johnson and Kasie Shoemaker of Alderson-Broaddus, and Fallon Nicholas of Charleston.
