Honors:
Coach Skiles has led his cross country and track teams to a prestigious 49 conference titles, a WVIAC record for all sports...Five titles were won during his tenure at Glenville State College, the other 44 since his arrival at Wesleyan in 1992...He is the only coach to earn four WVIAC titles in a single athletic season (1995-1996, 2008-2009, 2009-2010)...Along with the championships, Skiles has collected 42 Coach of the Year awards, the most recent being for the 2009 women's cross country team.
Notes:
Women's team has won eight straight conference championships (2002-07) and 14 of the last 15. Men's team has won three of the past four WVIAC Championships.
Personal:
Coach Skiles is a former news and sports writer for the Clarksburg Exponent-Telegram where he worked for 15 years...Skiles is renowned as a local author and historian and has now published eight statistical histories on West Virginia sports. He has two children, Micki Jo, 14 and Jesse Jr., 11. Skiles resides and operates a farm in Walkersville, WV.

Notes:
Moretz is in her first year as an assistant coach for the Wesleyan cross country teams after completing her career following the 2009-2010 season.
Career :

Moretz starred on the Wesleyan track and cross country teams for four years. During her career, Moretz was part of eight WVIAC championship teams; four in cross country and four in track and field. As a senior, Moretz earned Second Team All-WVIAC Cross Country honors. In addition to her success in athletics, Moretz excelled in the classroom as well earning Academic All-American honors four times.
