Football Cancels Skills and Drills Camp
The Wesleyan football staff announced on Monday that the second annual Skills and Drills football clinic scheduled to be held on July 14 and 16 will be cancelled. The July 14 session was for high school students while the July 16 session was to be a youth camp.

Football to Hold 2nd Annual Women’s Only Clinic
The West Virginia Wesleyan football office announced plans for the second annual Women's Only Football Clinic. Women are invited to attend the event, which will be held on Thursday, August 5 from 6:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. at the French A. See Dining Center.
The night will consist of a silent auction beginning at 6:30 p.m. followed by the football clinic at 7 p.m. There will also be door prizes during the intermission period of the clinic.

2010 Bobcat Football Recruiting Update (7/12/2010)
Head football coach Dennis Creehan (pictured) and the West Virginia Wesleyan coaching staff are on the recruiting trail putting together their 2010 signing class.
The 2010 class marks the second class under Creehan, who just completed his first season at the helm of the Bobcat program.

Mike Leach to Headline Air Raid QB/WR Camp
New offensive coordinator Gary Goff (pictured) and the rest of the West Virginia Wesleyan football coaching staff have announced their plans to host the first annual Air Raid Quarterback and Wide Receiver Camp on June 17-19. The camp, which will be held on Wesleyan’s campus, will feature guest coach Mike Leach. Leach, the former head coach at Texas Tech University, helped popularize the Air Raid offense during his ten years at the helm of the Raid Raider football program.
Mike Price Named First Captain of Football Team
Mike Price was named a captain of the West Virginia Wesleyan football team for the 2010 season.
Price, a native of Morgantown, is a 6-1, 280-pound senior defensive tackle. Last season, he was 11th on the team in tackles with 32 tackles (22 solo and 10 assisted). That included 8.5 tackles for losses and 4.5 sacks.
