AGKDean of the Chapel
The Reverend Angela Gay Kinkead is an ordained elder in The United Methodist Church and a member of the West Virginia Annual Conference. She received a bachelor of arts in Christian Education from West Virginia Wesleyan College, a master's degree in Christian Education from Scarritt Graduate School in Nashville, TN, and a master of divinity degree from Vanderbilt Divinity School in Nashville.

Angela Gay has served local churches as a Christian educator in Madison and Huntington, WV and Greenbrier, TN and as part-time Minister of Congregational Care in Nashville. She came to Wesleyan as Dean of the Chapel in October 2001 after serving 15 years as a denominational executive for youth ministry and Executive Director of the United Methodist Youth Organization in Nashville, TN.

Assistant to the Dean

Debbie Leigh, the Assistant to the Dean of the Chapel, is the backbone that keeps the rest of the office on task.

Leigh also serves as the Local Arrangements Coordinator for the West Virginia United Methodist Annual Conference, which takes place on campus each June.

McGrewCoordinator of Church Relations

Stephen McGrew joined the WV Wesleyan staff in February 2007 as Coordinator of Church Relations. McGrew works closely with the recruitment and retention of United Methodist students. Steve also promotes Wesleyan through the United Methodist Church, acting as a vessel of goodwill between the Church and the UM-related College.

Though technically a part of the Office of Admission, Steve's office is located in the Martin Religious Center with the Chapel Staff.

McGrew is a 2004 graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College. He received bachelor of arts in public relations and history, and minored in music.
