LEAP Gold Level: Personal Leadership Model and Legacy
Students will design and complete a project or improve an existing project for a student organization, co-curricular/curricular department or non-profit agency. The initial goal is for students to articulate, through a detailed proposal, how they will apply leadership knowledge learned in the Bronze and Silver level certificates. Each project will require an advisor (identified with help from CCE staff, if necessary) as well as SMART goals and outcomes. Proposals will either be approved or returned to the student for revisions by a CCE staff member. Upon completion of the project, students will write a reflective essay linking their project to learning outcomes related to personal leadership development.
If you have any questions about the program please send an e-mail to Jessica Wagner at leap@wvwc.edu or stop by the Center for Community Engagement & Leadership Development (behind the Campus Bookstore).
