Do Good Day
Do Good Day will be occuring across campus on April 9, 2013. Last year, students, staff and faculty gathered throughout the day in the chapel and wrote letters to the troops, donated food items to the Salvation Army and the Parish House, and created peace flags to celebrate service. This year, in addition to the chapel activities, there will be several service options that will include completing beautification projects across the campus grounds and in the facilities. The service projects will depend in large part on members of the campus community sending their ideas for possible projects that need attention across campus to a Do Good Day committee. The committee will review and assign tasks per the requirements of the project and number of available volunteers with assistance from the Center for Community Engagement and Leadership Development in coordinating the day. Each office will be able to participate by operating at reduced staffing levels so that all members of the community will be able to join in the activities of the day. More details will follow on the full day’s activities as April 9th approaches.
Please get involved by printing off one or more of the forms below to suggest a project to be completed; sign up your group, team, or class; and/or sign up as an individual to volunteer on Do Good Day.
