| Wesleyan English Department Honors Outstanding Scholars released: 05/06/02 |
| West Virginia Wesleyan College's English Department recognized the accomplishments of outstanding students in the graduating Class of 2002 at Wesleyan's annual Awards Convocation on Sunday, April 14, 2002. Students recognized all studied in one of the department's major tracks or concentrations--Teaching, Writing, or Literature. Students honored for their outstanding scholarship were: Teri Hendricks, an English literature major from Waldorf, Md.; Linda Ireland, a secondary education, English major from Salem, W.Va.; Jennifer LaMora, an English writing and history major from Elkins, W.Va.; Melissa Minsker, an English literature from Buckhannon, W.Va.; Breinne Mullins, an English writing major from Maysel, W.Va.; Brooke Seelos, an English major from Livonia, N.Y.; Katherine Shields, an English and communication studies major from Canfield, Ohio; Maari Thrall, an English writing and art major from Washington, W.Va.; Angela White, an English and business administration major from Wolf Summit, W.Va.; Sarabeth Wilson, an English major from Cowen, W.Va. |
