Ten students from West Virginia Wesleyan College, along with Dr. Steve Johnson, will travel to Pittcon 2002, a global technical conference and exposition in New Orleans, Louisiana, March 17-20, 2002. They will present research they completed on a pesticide chemical found on fruits and vegetables.

Pittcon is the largest conference and exposition on laboratory science and instrumentation in the world. The annual event brings together more than 30,000 attendees from over 120 countries. In addition to presenting their research, students will be able to participate in career networking and to discuss job opportunities with the companies that attend the conference. The students will also get a firsthand look at new technologies in the chemical field as well as having their questions answered by technical experts.
