| The final
standings for the 2001-02 President's Cup have been announced. West Virginia
Wesleyan, coming from second place after the winter seasons, is the recipient
of this award. West Liberty State is second, with Wheeling Jesuit finishing
in third place. The West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference annually awards the President's Cup as a means of recognizing all-around athletic excellence among its member schools. This award goes to the school that has the highest average score for sports sponsored within the WVIAC. Points are awarded based on finishes in the regular season of each sport. Scoring of WVIAC sports is a reflection of the number of teams participating for that championship. Wheeling Jesuit was last year's winner.
