Celebrates Christmas on Campus released: 11/21/02 |
| Everyone mark
your calendars! Christmas is just around the corner and that means that
West Virginia Wesleyan College is preparing for its annual Christmas on
Campus, which will be held on Saturday, December 7. Christmas on Campus
is an event during which second and third graders in Upshur County visit
the campus, make Christmas crafts, and meet Santa. This event starts at
12:00 p.m., with registration in the Green Room located in Rockefeller Gym,
and lasts until 5:00 p.m. This is an event that many children wait all year
to attend. The children will travel around Wesleyan to participate in various
activities. These activities are sponsored by twenty or more campus organizations,
which devote themselves to making Christmas a more memorable experience
through crafts, goodies, and sharing the holiday spirit. The day will conclude
with an assembly in the Social Hall and an appearance by Santa. The purpose of Christmas on Campus is to share the Christmas spirit with the community. Look for more information to come through the school system. If you would like to donate to Christmas on Campus or would like to register your child and did not receive the forms, please contact Heidi Tucker at tucker_ha@wvwc.edu or call her at 473-7623. |
