WVWC Hosts Internship Information Fair

The Academic and Career Center at West Virginia Wesleyan College (WVWC) recently sponsored an internship information fair on Thursday, November 14 in the side dining room of the French A. See Dining Center during dinner hours. Over 300 WVWC students visited the fair stopping at the tables to talk with potential supervisors, gaze at displays, and browse program materials.

Employers, at the invitation of WVWC’s Academic and Career Center, used the fair to recruit students who have the potential to enhance the productivity of each business or organization while “learning by doing” themselves.

Some participating employers included: WBOY-TV, St. Joseph’s Hospital Rural Health Education Program, Deer Park Inn, WV Rivers Coalition, The Parish House, A Governor’s Inn, TV3/WBUC Radio, Stonewall Jackson Resort, Stockert Youth Center, and The Book Store.
