| Wesleyan Plans
for Interfaith Prayer & Reflection When War Begins released: 03/19/03 |
With our country nearing a possible conflict with Iraq, the West Virginia Wesleyan College West Mediation Chapel will be open on the day that war breaks out for interfaith and intercessory prayers and reflection. The Wesleyan campus
–students, faculty, and college staff – as well as the Upshur
County community are invited to use the Meditation Chapel as a gathering
point. There will also be newsprint markers so you can “graffiti for peace.” On the day following
the beginning of the war, there will be a candlelight vigil on the steps
of Wesley Chapel at 7 p.m. |
