| Broadway Comes
to Wesleyan With the Production Side by Side Sondheim released: 02/05/03 |

| No need to
travel to New York City for a fabulous evening of great food, gorgeous voices
and Broadway style entertainment! Come to West Virginia Wesleyan College’s
campus February 6-9 as the Theatre Department presents Side by Side by Sondheim.
Show times are 8 p.m. Thursday - Sunday with an additional 2 p.m. performance
on Sunday. Dinner will be served starting at 7 p.m. All performances are
in Benedum Campus Center in the Social Hall. Side by Side features popular favorites from every Sondheim musical including West Side Story and Company and Gypsy, featuring such well-known songs as Anyone Can Whistle, I Have a Love and Comedy Tonight. WVWC students Christopher Blackburn, Kelsey O'Sullivan, Caitlin Rexrode, Erica Scanlon, Krista Slemmer, Joshua Stubbs, and Vincent J. Trimboli directed by Bess Park-Reynolds will make you laugh, cry, and fall in love to these Broadway stylings from one of the greatest American composers. Please join us - for
dinner, for dessert and coffee or just to enjoy the wonderful music of
Stephen Sondheim. The tickets are Dinner and Show-$20, Dessert, Coffee
and Show-$8, General Admission-$4, Students/Seniors-$2, WVWC Student-$1. |
