| The West Virginia College
Concert Band & Wind Ensemble will perform in concert, Tuesday, April
15, at 7:30 p.m. in Wesley Chapel.
The program will feature traditional wind band music and seasonal selections. The Wind Ensemble will perform the following selections: Water Music by George Fredric Handel The 60-piece Concert Band will perform the following musical selections: Fanfare Prelude on “Lobe Den Herren”
(Praise the Lord, The Almighty) by Jim Curnow 1. Chaconne – Andrew Duncan, Conductor The Tell-Tale Heart (Edgar Allen Poe)
by Larry Clark The conductors for the First Suite in E Flat for Military Band, Andrew Duncan, Sean Coughlin, and John Herold, are all West Virginia Wesleyan students. This is the group’s only concert on campus this semester. This hour of music
will be presented free to the public. All are cordially invited to attend. |
