and Mountain Institute to Present Creative Writing Workshop released: 04/21/04 |

Wesleyan College and the Mountain Institute will present a Summer Creative
Writing Workshop for aspiring Poets and Fiction Writers from May 4-11 at
the Spruce Knob Mountain Center in Pendleton County, West Virginia. Wesleyan faculty members attending the Workshop will be poet Dr. Irene McKinney and fiction writer Richard Schmitt. There will be intensive workshop sessions but also time to relax and do some writing and/or simply take in the mountain environment, breath some fresh air, and reflect on writing. Room and board are provided for $409 per student. This is a three-credit course and may be taken without credit.
