world-famous Harlem Globetrotters bring their historic and fun-filled
tour to West Virginia Wesleyan College on Thursday, March 18 at 7 p.m.
at Rockefeller Center. Doors will open at 6 p.m.
The Harlem Globetrotters have become a part of basketball tradition since
their beginning in 1926. Over their 78-year history, the Globetrotters
have entertained and thrilled more than 130 million fans in 115 countries.
They are known around the globe to be one of the world’s most affordable,
exhilarating and enjoyable sports entertainment experience and are the
most recognized and popular sports team in the world.
Expert comedy showmen, amazing slam-dunk and ball handling presentations,
high-tech special effects and much more are all a part of the fun during
the two-hour extravaganza!
The Globetrotters last appeared on the Wesleyan campus in spring of 2001
and played in front of a sold-out Rockefeller Center crowd.
The Globetrotters tour is being sponsored by Burger King. Reserved seats
for the game can be purchased in advance at Elite Cleaners, formerly Tramar
