Miranda Miller of Marietta College and Gail Roberts of West Virginia Wesleyan College (WVWC) were co-winners of the award for the top submission at the Mid-Atlantic Undergraduate Research Conference.

The conference was hosted by WVWC. Miranda Miller, a senior English Literature major at Marietta College, will study English Literature in Graduate School. She has scholarship offers from a number of schools, including Ohio State University. Her paper was entitled, "To Fear No More: Imogen and Clarissa, Empowered and Admired."

Gail Roberts, a senior Biology major at WVWC, will attend Medical School at WVU. Her paper was entitled "Cox-1 and Cox-2 Inhibitors on Proliferation and Apoptosis in Breast and Prostate Cancer."

Honorable mention went to Dave Nichols, Morgan Meadows, and Wes Jarrell, all of WVWC.
