Wesleyan to Host Battle of the Band April 15

The Campus Activities Board (CAB) at West Virginia Wesleyan College will be hosting its second annual Battle of the Bands on Friday, April 15, from 4 to 8 p.m. The event will be held on the front lawn of the Benedum Campus Center on Wesleyan’s campus.
Six bands, False Profit, Flee Market, A Lesson Learned, Northwind, Stoker 7, and Under Dark Skies, will be competing for the grand prize of $500. The bands include students from Wesleyan and from the surrounding area.
In addition, several novelties will be available, including build-a-bear, air brush tattoos, and cinemation (3D simulation). These novelties are limited to one per person. They are free with a valid Wesleyan student ID or for a fee to others who would like to participate.
During this event, Aladdin will be serving dinner outside. Dinner is free with a valid meal ticket or for a fee of $5.50. For more information, contact the Campus Activities Board office at (304) 473-8104. |
