West Virginia Wesleyan College's annual juried student art exhibition will begin on Wednesday, March 30 in Sleeth Gallery. The exhibition will showcase Wesleyan art student’s work and will be on display until Friday, April 8. The exhibition will feature paintings, sculptures, drawings, print artwork and video.
Sara Shawger, a 2000 Wesleyan graduate, is the juror for this year’s show. Shawger of Harrisburg, VA, is an adjunct professor at James Madison University where she received her master’s degree in art.
There will be an opening reception on Wednesday from 4:30 to 6 p.m., while the awards ceremony will be at 5:30 p.m. Gallery hours are Monday - Friday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. or by appointment. Admission is free to the reception and Sleeth Gallery.
