Governor Joe Manchin Visits Campus released: 03/10/05
West Virginia Wesleyan students were treated to a speech with West Virginia Governor Joe Manchin III on Wednesday, March 9. Governor Manchin visited with about 50 students from Professors Kwame Boateng and Lisa McLeod-Simmons’ political science classes in Nellie Wilson Lounge to discuss the future of West Virginia. Following his speech, students engaged in a question and answer session with the governor, with questions ranging from the impact of Corridor H on the local area to bringing new jobs into the state.
