West Virginia Wesleyan College’s Opera Workshop will present scenes from "The Marriage of Figaro" by W. A. Mozart on Sunday, April 23 at 3 p.m. in Loar Auditorium. 

"Le Mariage de Figaro," directed by Voice Professors Karl and Ronda Paoletti, is the second in a series of three plays about the same principal characters by Beaumarchais which poke fun at the aristocracy and the social foundations of the time. Napoleon Bonaparte claimed that this play was "the Revolution already in action." 

Admission is free and open to the public.
