INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY INITIATIVE
Teaching and Learning with Technology Wesleyan's teaching and learning environment is both strong in the liberal arts and progressive with the use of appropriate technology. Students attending Weselyan are required to have a laptop computer.
Connectivity - libraries, students, faculty, global communities - students at Wesleyan are connected to class discussion groups, online course resources, electronic research materials; they are connected to each other to their faculty and to the world. (see our digital library resources)
Anytime, anywhere computing has become a lifestyle among today's nomadic college students, as well as college faculty, business workers and everyone with a “connected” lifestyle. Students will use their own computer to complete research in the classroom, in their dorm room, in our wireless enabled public areas, wherever they are during college breaks – anytime, anywhere.
Dell Partnership. The College participates in a Dell partnership program that allows students to purchase a laptop including extended warranty and accidental damage coverage at reduced pricing. |
