Class of 1961 Emeritus Club Events
The Emeritus Club of West Virginia Wesleyan will kick-off Commencement weekend activities with a reception to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its newest members, the Class of 1961, at Erickson Alumni Center beginning at 5:00 pm on Friday, May 6. A Class of 1961 Reunion dinner will follow directly in the Virginia Thomas Law Center for the Performing Arts at 6:00 pm.
On Saturday, May 7, the Emeritus Club 50th Anniversary Induction Luncheon and Annual Meeting will be held in the French A. See Dining Center at 11:30 am. All current Emeritus Club members and new members are asked to make their reservation for this luncheon no later than Wednesday, May 4th. To download the reservation form, please click here. The cost of the Emeritus Club 50th Anniversary Induction Luncheon and Annual Meeting is complimentary for new members and $12.00 per person for current members. New Emeritus Club members are also invited to the Commencement Banquet with the Class of 2011, which will be held later that evening at 5:30 pm in the French A. See Dining Center.
All Emeritus Club members are invited to Commencement on Sunday, May 8. However, reservations are required, as the special seating reserved for Emeritus Club members will only be granted by complimentary ticket. Doors open for special seating at 9:00 am, and Commencement begins at 10:00 am. Members are also welcome to the post-Commencement Buffet in the French A. See Dining Center at 12:30 pm.
