Workforce Development
West Virginia Wesleyan and Gatlin Education Services currently offer online open enrollment workforce development programs designed to provide the skills necessary to acquire professional level positions for many in-demand occupations. Together, we are the world’s largest provider of online workforce development programs.
Our programs are designed by a team of professionals from each respective field who work to provide the most effective web-based learning experience available today. Instructors/mentors are actively involved in your online learning experience. They respond to any questions or concerns, as well as encourage and motivate you to succeed.
Each program includes a set of lessons and evaluations; grades are a combination of the instructor/mentor's evaluation of students' work and computer graded tests. We know you'll appreciate the quality as well as the convenience of anytime, anywhere learning!

FINANCING is available for students who need assistance WITH GES COURSES
Loans: We understand paying for career training while working or switching careers can be a real challenge. Gatlin offers direct financing with a very low down payment for our career training programs. Our loan rates are the lowest in the industry and our application process is quick and easy.
Military Tuition Assistance: Military tuition assistance is dependent primarily upon your command. All of our programs lead towards a certificate of completion, and all of our partners are nationally or regionally accredited. Many commands will approve "tuition assistance" for promotion points, career advancement, and morale purposes.
Montgomery GI Bill: Montgomery GI Bill is offered for a variety of courses. Please, complete this brief questionnaire and our military education specialist will assist you in choosing a Veteran Affairs approved course.
Tax Credits: Generally speaking, the U.S. government supports education by providing individuals with a variety of tax credits. Remember a tax credit is typically more valuable than a tax deduction. The credit is subtracted from the amount of TAX owed not just the Taxable income.

You are encouraged to contact your region Workforce Career Center if you are a dislocated worker or are currently in job transition and desire to enroll into a Wesleyan Workforce Development career training program. This should be your first point of contact to inquire into your eligibility to receive funding through the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Adult and Dislocated Worker Training program to pay for state approved courses. Please note that not all of Wesleyan’s online workforce development programs have been approved for WIA or TAA funding.
