Cafe Libros

Café Libros is the Library's in-house coffee bar. Opened for business in March 2007, Café Libros is a joint venture of the Library and Buckhannon's The Daily Grind. The café is staffed by student organizations as a fundraising effort, with proceeds from sales being divided between the staffing group and the library.

The Mission of Café Libros is to provide:

• Relaxation, refreshment, and gathering space within the Annie Merner Pfeiffer Library for students, faculty and staff of West Virginia Wesleyan College.
• An opportunity to build community.
• An opportunity to encourage conversations and collaboration.

Beginning with the start of the fall 2007, the library will also be hosting monthly programming events in the Café Libros portion of the library. Watch for eMos and other announcements about such programming.

Café Libros offers a selection of fresh pasties daily as well as two blends of fair-trade organic coffee. A selection of fair-trade organic teas is also available. The café is open from 8am-11pm weekdays and 5-11pm on Sunday.
