RE: Important Changes to Audio Visual Services and Request Processing
Effective immediately, Robert Osburn will be taking over the duties of the Audio – Visual Coordinator.
If you have new AV requests, please send those requests to email@example.com at least 24 hours prior to a reservation that occurs within the normal business hours of Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm, or 72 hours prior to afterhours or weekend reservations. (This includes classroom and non-classroom events).
All AV Requests must either go through the Housing Department’s Room Reservation process or via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. (The request form on the web site has been temporarily taken down for service. The campus community will be notified when this feature becomes available again.) When making requests, please be as specific as possible, and also make sure you include a phone number where you may be reached in case there are any questions.
Furthermore, if prior to January 24, 2014, you have already made reservations for AV equipment for an event that has yet to occur, please resend that request to email@example.com so that I may ensure that your equipment reservation was recorded properly and the equipment will be provided as expected.
Finally, if you know of any AV maintenance needs, such as projectors that are not working, screens that are in need of repair, or missing equipment, please send an e-mail including the problem description, equipment description, and equipment location, so that I may schedule and address needed repairs.
