Final Open House Fast Approaching
Wednesday, November 14th, 2012
The Office of Admission at West Virginia Wesleyan College will host its final open house of the year on Saturday, December 1, on campus.
Choosing a college is about finding the right fit. Academics, location, and atmosphere are all important components of finding the perfect school – and Wesleyan offers the best.
The benefits of attending a collegiate open house are tremendous. Wesleyan’s Fall Visit Day will give prospective students and their families a chance to not only tour the beautiful 102-acre Georgian campus, but also make connections with professors from their intended major, learn about the Admission and Financial Aid processes, chat with admission counselors, and hear from current Wesleyan students about what it is really like to live, eat, and study on campus.
Wesleyan strives to give students and their families the entire experience, and this will become a vital piece while exploring college options. Choosing a college is a difficult decision, and attending an open house is the best way to capture a glimpse of what it is like to be a student on campus.
The Office of Admission is still accepting students for the December 1 visit by calling (800) 722-9933 or visiting www.wvwc.edu/admission. If you are unable to attend this day but would still like to visit Wesleyan, please contact us to schedule a weekday visit.
West Virginia Wesleyan is a small, private liberal arts school of approximately 1,400 students. Offering 43 majors, 36 minors, and 5 graduate programs, Wesleyan is listed in the first tier in the South in the 2013 U.S. News Best Colleges, is ranked 12th among baccalaureate college in The Washington Monthly, and is the only West Virginia school listed in the U.S. News Great Schools at Great Prices publication.
