West Virginia Wesleyan College students from Michael Doss’ State and Local Government class participated in an educational field trip to the West Virginia State Legislature on March 12.  The trip provided students with first-hand experience in the operations and functions of both the legislative and executive branch of state government.  Students observed both House of Delegates and State Senate business and met individually with various constitutional officers including Governor Earl Ray Tomblin, Secretary of State Natalie Tennant, Auditor Glen Gainer and Attorney General Patrick Morrisey.
