Eighth Annual Ten Thousands Villages Opens Nov. 13

West Virginia Wesleyan College will host its eighth annual Ten Thousand Villages sale November 13 – 20. Ten Thousand Villages is a nonprofit fair trade organization that sells handcrafted products made by disadvantaged artisans from over 35 countries. These products represent the diverse cultures of Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East. Fair trade provides artisans with an opportunity to earn income and improve their quality of life. The sale will feature unique fair trade products including scarves, baskets, chocolate, Christmas ornaments, jewelry, and so much more. The sale will be held in the first floor of the Benedum Campus Center at  Wesleyan , in the Game Room next to the SunnyBucks convenience shop. Weekday hours are 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM and weekend hours are 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM. All forms of payment are accepted. Come for some holiday shopping while supporting artisans all over the world. Your purchases help artisans receive fair wages for their beautiful work.
