Wesleyan Receives Donation from Long-Time Supporter

West Virginia Wesleyan College has received a $20,000 donation from Mike Ross for the multi-purpose stadium fund and for current scholarships.  Pictured left to right are Director of Athletics Randy Tenney ’77, Mike Ross, Wesleyan President Pam Balch ’71, and Vice President for Advancement Bob Skinner ’75.

Thanks to the donation from Ross, Wesleyan has secured $87,000 in donations from area businesses during the past several months.

“We are extremely grateful to Mike Ross for his generous and faithful support,” noted Wesleyan President Balch.  “Mike has been a great friend to Wesleyan, and we greatly appreciate his support of the stadium project and for scholarships that benefit area students.”

In addition to the gift from Ross, Wesleyan has received donations this fiscal year from Aladdin Food Management Services; Anita’s Flowers and Boutique, LLC; Arnett, Foster, and Toothman, PLLC; Bailey’s Pre-Owned Auto Sales; Barnes and Noble; Brake’s Dairy King; Buckhannon Family Dental; Buckhannon Toyota; Denex Petroleum Corporation; Griffin Real Estate; High Point Construction; Jenkins Ford-Mercury; John Burdette & Associates; Lanes Auto Sales, Inc.; Mike Ross Family Foundation; MPL Corporation; Premier Bank; Ralph’s Furniture and Appliance, Inc.; Riverside Bed and Breakfast; Saint-Gobain SEFPRO; Sam’s Pizza; State Farm – Sharon T.
