Wednesday, April 16th, 2014
West Virginia Wesleyan College will begin renovating Cebe Ross field into a Multi-purpose athletic facility next month. The first phase of the project will involve the installation of a synthetic turf system, a new eight lane track surface, and the development of the infrastructure for lights, and other anticipated improvements to follow.
College officials expect that Phase I will be completed before the beginning of the fall sports season.
The renovations will allow Ross field to accommodate football, lacrosse, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s track, intramurals, and the marching band.
Wesleyan is currently conducting a fund-raising effort for the Multi-purpose stadium.
