MBA Program Offers Oil & Gas Accounting Course

West Virginia Wesleyan College’s School of Business is pleased to announce that Dan Chenoweth has joined the faculty, and will be offering an Oil & Gas Accounting course for Fall 2014. The class will meet on Thursday evenings, from 7:00 pm – 9:50pm, beginning August 28. Practicing accountants who are interested in professional development related to oil and gas accounting are invited to enroll in the course. A pre-requisite of Intermediate Accounting is required.
Chenoweth is returning to West Virginia after having practiced accounting several years in Newport News, VA. He is from the Elkins area, and was previously employed at Toothman Rice and as an adjunct instructor for Wesleyan’s MBA program. Chenoweth earned a Master’s of Public Accountancy from West Virginia University and holds CPA licensure. He will be teaching a variety of undergraduate and MBA accounting courses, bringing his real-world experience into the classroom.
Wesleyan’s School of Business offers majors in accounting, economics, management, marketing, sport business, and an MBA.
